How many weddings take place in the hotel or parks every day?

It varies according to the season. The capacity of our facilities and our team of experts allows us to host many events on the same day without them interfering with each other.

Can we get married in a chapel if we are not catholic?

Our chapels are consecrated and therefore only available for catholic ceremonies. However, we have other venues for the civil, symbolic and Mayan ceremonies, as well as for the renewal of vows.

Ceremonies

Which ceremony is included in the wedding package?

The symbolic ceremony by our minister. If a civil, catholic or Prehispanic Wedding is required, the service of the wedding officiant will have an additional cost.

Which is the ending time for the reception?

The closing time of the venues at Xcaret park and Xcaret Hotels is 4:00 am, with the exemption of the locations near the suits where the limit is the 23:00 hrs.

Are the priest’s services included in the cost of the chapel?

The priest’s services are not included. It is important to contact the Parroquia de Nuestra Sra. del Carmen to understand the documentation process and the hiring of the priest.

Which papers do we need for the catholic wedding?

All the documentation is verified by and delivered directly to the Parroquia de Nuestra Sra. del Carmen.

Services

If we get married at the park and stay in Xcaret Hotels, the transportation is included?

Yes, transportation to Xcaret park for you and your guests staying at Xcaret Hotels is included.

Is there a purveyors fee?

Yes, a fee must be paid for each purveyor not included in the list sent by your Wedding Planner. The fee varies according to the type of service.

Will the purveyors contact me or do I have to get in touch with them?

We will let them know about your wedding, so they can contact you to start with the preparations. Nevertheless, you will be able to contact them whenever you wish.

Can I bring my own makeup artist?

Yes. By paying the Day-Pass fee of $100 USD, the makeup artist will have access to the facilities and services of Xcaret Hotels.

Do you have golf carts for the guests?

No. Due to the architecture of Xcaret Hotels and the Xcaret and Xoximilco parks it is not possible to use golf carts for the transportation of the guests.

Is there a room for the bride’s preparation?

At the Xcaret park there is a newlyweds’ suite in which they will be able to refresh, however it does not have the proper conditions for the stylist and the makeup artist services.

Reservations

How many guests should stay in Xcaret Hotels to hold a wedding in its premises?

At least 80% of the total number of the wedding guests should stay at the hotel.

What will happen if less than the 80% of my guests end up staying in Xcaret Hotels?

A penalty per person not staying at the hotel will incur. Your wedding planner will inform you the amount beforehand.

Are private events inside Xcaret Hotels included in the staying fee?

No. Private events are not included in the All-Fun Inclusive™ concept and have an extra charge. We offer 2 wedding packages which can be quoted by our Sales Executive.

Is the newlyweds’ suite at Xcaret Hotels included in the wedding package?

No, the suite is not included.

What is the rate for the inspection visit?

We gladly offer a 20% discount over the public rate available in the date of your booking.

What happens if you sign your contract for a certain number of persons and need to make a reduction?

First, remember that the wedding package you purchased in your contract includes a designated number of guests. If you plan to have fewer guests than the specified amount, no refund or discount will be applicable. 

 

However, if you purchase a wedding package plus additional guests and then need to reduce the total number of attendees, this reduction will incur a 100% penalty on the services being decreased.

 

To avoid losing this amount, the hotel can offer you the flexibility to use the total funds corresponding to the guests not attending to purchase additional services, such as: 

 

  • An extra hour of open bar for the welcome cocktail or to extend your reception
  • An additional course for your wedding dinner
  • A plated dinner
  • A semi-private dinner for your group
  • Food stations for the welcome cocktail or reception
  • Purchase of wine or liquor bottles for your event

 

Please note that this penalty is established at the time you notify us of the reduction. Any previous add-ons listed on your invoice cannot be paid for using the funds from this penalty.

How many suites are necessary to be considered a Wedding Group?

10 suites for a minimum of 3 nights.
